The town centre of Haderslev is situated only 10 – 12 minutes by walking from Haderslev camping site.
The walk goes through the beautiful Dampark to the shopping street and the cathedral. Haderslev has maintained its historic charm with beautiful old houses.
The town is surrounded by water, ideal for canoeing or a lovely boat trip to the Årøsund with the fjord boat Helene. Canoes can be hired at vandrerhjem/campingsite.
If you want to hike in the nature: Haderslev Deerpark is located in the western Pamhule forest at Haderslev Dam, near the Vandrerhjem/Campingsite.
