Useful information before you come to stay with us.
Even in the relaxed and open atmosphere of a DANHOSTEL, a few practical guidelines are necessary to ensure that all our guests get the maximum enjoyment from their stay. Below, we outline the most important factors, which apply to guests both before and during their stay with us.
Smoking policy: As of the 1/3/2007, guests are not permitted to smoke indoors at Danhostel Haderslev.
Drinks: Must be bought here. (i.e. may not be brought in)
Reservations: It is recommended that intending guests always book their accommodation in good time, as the hostel is extremely popular. Reservations can be made by tel. + 45 74 52 13 47, fax. + 45 74 52 13 64, or e-mail haderselv@danhostel.dk, or via Danhostel.dk
Cancellation: All cancellations must be reported to the youth hostel as soon as possible. Though, not later than the day before at 12.00. If a cancellation is not reported in the required time period, the appropriate overnight fee will be charged.
Checking in: Check in usually takes place between 16.00-18.00, unless otherwise agreed. On the day of departure, the room/chalet must be vacated no later than 09.30 and the hostel itself vacated no later than 1000.
Hours of opening: From the 1st of June – 1st September, the hostel reception and telephone is manned as a minimum from 08.00 - 12.00 and 16.00 - 20.00. For the rest of the year, reception and the telephone will always be manned from 08.00 - 10.00 and 16.00 - 18.00. Please bear in mind that different hours may apply in other places. It should also be borne in mind that the hostel may be closed due to staff holidays and the like, but where this is the case, information regarding the next period of availability will be left on the answer phone. Once you have received the key to your room, you may come and go as you please, day or night.

Tidying up and cleaning: On departure, guests are kindly requested to leave their rooms in a clean and orderly state, just as they were found on arrival.
